Family & Balikbayan Trips Home
Going home is not the same as going on holiday, and it should not be booked the same way. Long stays, heavy bags, several provinces in one trip and dates that may need to move — this is the travel we handle most.

What makes these trips different
A family trip home usually means a longer stay than a standard holiday, more baggage than a standard allowance, and often more than one destination — Manila plus a province, or two provinces on opposite sides of the country. Booking that as separate one-way tickets is usually the most expensive and least protected way to do it. We build it as one itinerary wherever possible.
Baggage and pasalubong
Baggage is the single biggest hidden cost on these trips. Allowances vary widely by airline and are usually far tighter on domestic legs than on the long-haul flight. We price prepaid baggage on both legs up front, because paying at the airport is almost always the most expensive option.
Provincial connections
Not every province is a simple domestic flight. Some are best reached by a combination of flight, ferry and road, and the sensible routing changes with the season and the weather. We plan the internal legs with buffer built in rather than leaving you to make a tight connection with a family and full luggage.
Flexible dates
Family circumstances change. Where it matters, we will show you the difference in cost between a fixed fare and a more flexible one, so you can make that decision with the numbers in front of you rather than discovering the change fee later.
Frequently asked questions
Can I book a one-way flight home?
Yes, though bear in mind the Philippines normally requires proof of onward travel for visa-free entry. We will talk through the options.
How much extra baggage can I take?
It depends on the airline and route. We compare carriers on total cost including prepaid baggage, which often changes which fare is genuinely cheapest.
Can you book flights to the provinces?
Yes — domestic flights, ferries and transfers, booked to connect properly with your international flight.
Do you speak Tagalog?
Yes. You can deal with us in English or Tagalog, in UK hours.

Kausapin mo kami — talk to a person
Tell us where home is, roughly when you want to travel, who is going and what you are carrying, and we will come back with real options and the total price including bags. If it is easier for a parent or grandparent to explain the dates themselves, put them on with us — we do that every week.
