Clark is closer than Manila for much of Central Luzon
Clark International (CRK) sits in Angeles, Pampanga. For families in Central Luzon and up towards Baguio it removes the part of the journey people dread most: the drive out of Manila. Arriving at NAIA and then driving north can take three to five hours in bad traffic, at the end of a twenty-hour journey, usually with elderly relatives and a car full of boxes. From Clark the same families are often home inside an hour or two.
It is a calmer airport to land at
Clark is far smaller and quieter than NAIA. That matters more than it sounds if you are travelling with a parent who does not fly often, with young children, or with someone who needs wheelchair assistance. Immigration and baggage reclaim are quicker, and being met by family is much simpler than at Manila.
Bagahe and boxes
The allowance question is the same as everywhere else and we handle it the same way: tell us what is going home and we will price the routing on total cost including bags. If you are carrying more than an allowance sensibly covers, we will say so honestly and tell you when sending a box by sea ahead of time works out better — we would rather you got it right than oversold you excess baggage.
Getting there and getting on
Clark is served by connecting routings from the UK through the Gulf and Asia. We book the whole journey end to end, and we can arrange a private transfer to meet you at Clark so nobody is waiting outside with the bags.
Frequently asked questions
How much are flights to Clark from the UK?
From around £789pp for selected dates and airlines. Fares shown are "from" prices for selected dates and airlines, correct as at August 2026, and change with availability. We confirm the exact fare before you pay anything.
Where is Clark airport?
Clark International Airport (CRK) is in Angeles City, Pampanga, north of Manila. It is the most convenient arrival for much of Central Luzon and for onward travel to Baguio.
Is Clark better than Manila for my family?
If your family is in Pampanga, Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, Bulacan, Zambales or the Baguio direction, usually yes, because it removes a long drive out of Manila at the end of the journey. If home is Metro Manila or south of it, Manila is normally better. Tell us the province and we will say which we would book.
Can you arrange a transfer from Clark?
Yes. We can book a private vehicle to meet you, which is worth doing if you are travelling with elderly relatives or a lot of luggage.
