Who we are
One World Lakbay is a UK-based travel agency working with the Filipino community in Britain. Our agents speak Tagalog, Bisaya and English, we work UK hours, and the bulk of our business is trips home — families going back for Pasko, group bookings for weddings and reunions, elderly parents who need help with the journey, and one-way and open returns for longer stays. We are part of the One World Travels group of brands.
How to check we are real before you pay
You should check, and we would rather you did. We display our ATOL and ABTA registration on this site; you can verify an ATOL holder on the Civil Aviation Authority website and an ABTA member on the ABTA website, using the numbers shown in our footer rather than any number sent to you in a message. Ask us for written confirmation of what your specific booking includes and how it is protected before you pay. A genuine agent will never mind being asked.
What protection actually means
Financial protection is not a slogan, and it does not automatically cover everything. When you buy an ATOL-protected package, you receive an ATOL Certificate at the time of booking that sets out what is covered — if you do not receive one, ask, because that certificate is the thing that matters if a supplier fails. Some services booked on their own are not ATOL protected. We will tell you plainly which parts of your trip are covered and which are not, rather than letting the badges imply more than they mean.
Paying safely
Pay us directly through the payment method we set out in your written confirmation. Never send money to a personal account on the strength of a message, however convincing, and if anything about a payment request looks different from what we agreed in writing, stop and phone us on the number on this website. This applies to every travel agency, not just us.
Speak to a person
If you would rather talk than fill in a form, call or message us and ask for an agent who speaks Tagalog or Bisaya. If it is easier for a parent or grandparent to explain their own dates, put them on with us — we do that all the time.

We display our ATOL and ABTA registration in the site footer. When you buy an ATOL-protected package you will receive an ATOL Certificate at the time of booking setting out what is covered. Some individual services booked alone are not ATOL protected, and we will tell you which parts of your trip are covered.
Do your agents speak Tagalog?
Yes. Our team speaks Tagalog, Bisaya and English, and we work UK hours.
How do I know a payment request from you is genuine?
It will match the written confirmation we sent you. We will never ask you to send money to a personal account by message. If a payment request looks different from what was agreed, stop and phone the number on this website.
