Routings from the UK

There is no non-stop flight between the UK and Manila at the moment, so every itinerary connects at least once. Typical journey time is around 15 to 17 hours. We fly clients from London and from regional airports including Manchester, Birmingham and Glasgow, adding the UK domestic or rail leg where it helps.

Baggage — the thing most people get wrong

If you are travelling to family, baggage allowance often matters more than the fare. Allowances differ sharply between carriers and between the long-haul and domestic legs, and a cheap headline fare can cost more once you have paid for a second bag and then paid again on the domestic connection. We price the whole trip including baggage so you can compare properly.

Onward domestic connections

Cebu, Palawan (Puerto Princesa or El Nido), Boracay (via Caticlan), Davao, Iloilo and Bacolod all connect through Manila or Cebu. Domestic carriers can be strict on baggage and on minimum connection times, and a missed domestic leg is not usually protected if booked separately. We build the connection with enough buffer, on one itinerary where possible.

Frequently asked questions

Are there direct flights from London to Manila?

Not at present. All current routings involve at least one connection, typically 15 to 17 hours in total.

Which airports can I fly from?

We book from London and from regional airports including Manchester, Birmingham, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Can I get extra baggage for a family visit?

Yes — this is one of the most common requests we handle. We compare carriers on total cost including baggage, not just the headline fare.

Can you book my domestic flight to Cebu or Palawan too?

Yes, and we recommend it. Booking the domestic leg separately leaves you unprotected if the international flight is delayed.
