Flights to Cebu from the UK

Cebu is the second gateway home, and for most families in the Visayas it is the sensible one — you land closer, you skip the Manila domestic transfer, and your bags stay on one ticket. From £699pp.

Why fly into Cebu instead of Manila

If your family is in Cebu, Bohol, Leyte, Samar, Negros or Iloilo, routing through Mactan-Cebu (CEB) usually beats Manila. You avoid the transfer between Manila terminals, which is the single most common way a homecoming trip goes wrong — the terminals are separate buildings, traffic between them is unpredictable, and a domestic connection booked on its own ticket is not protected if the long-haul leg runs late. Landing at Cebu often puts you within a short drive or a single short ferry of home.

Bagahe — plan it before you book the fare

On a trip home the baggage allowance usually matters more than the headline fare, and we price the whole journey including bags rather than quoting a fare you then have to top up twice. Allowances differ between the long-haul carrier and any domestic leg, and the domestic carriers are the strict ones. Tell us roughly what you are carrying — balikbayan boxes, pasalubong, a wedding dress, medical supplies for a parent — and we will pick the routing where that is cheapest overall, not just the cheapest seat.

Onward from Cebu

Bohol (Tagbilaran or the Tubigon fast craft), Dumaguete, Tacloban, Iloilo, Bacolod, Siargao and Camiguin all connect through Cebu. We book those legs on the same itinerary wherever the airlines allow it, with a real connection buffer built in rather than the legal minimum.

Booking with a Filipino-speaking agent

Our agents speak Tagalog, Bisaya and English, and we are contactable in UK hours. If it is easier for your mum or your lola to explain the dates herself, put her on the phone with us — we do that every week. Low deposits and instalments are available, and everything we sell is financially protected.

Frequently asked questions

How much are flights to Cebu from the UK?

From around £699pp for selected dates and airlines. Fares shown are "from" prices for selected dates and airlines, correct as at August 2026, and change with availability. We confirm the exact fare before you pay anything.

Are there direct flights from the UK to Cebu?

No. Every routing connects at least once, usually in the Gulf or Asia, and total journey time is typically around 17 to 20 hours depending on the connection.

Can I get extra baggage for pasalubong?

Yes, and it is one of the most common things we arrange. We compare carriers on total cost including the bags you actually need, and we can pre-purchase allowance, which is almost always cheaper than paying at the airport.

Can you book my onward flight or ferry to Bohol or Tacloban?

Yes, and we recommend booking it with us rather than separately. Booked on its own, a domestic leg gives you no protection if the international flight is delayed.

Do you speak Bisaya?

Yes. Our team speaks Tagalog, Bisaya and English.
